Guidewire Developer

Our global client is looking for a seasoned Guidewire developer to spearhead several major implementations within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead design, development and enhancement of functionality within the Guidewire platform
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders/customers/developers/architects and other relevant parties to maintain functionality and optimization of Guidewire platform
  • Collaborating closely with development teams to ensure efficient software delivery, optimized configuration and demand planning
  • Establish comprehensive development skill assessments and ensure constant feedback loop

Requirements

Must haves:

  • 7 to 10+ years in overall IT experience, most of which has been within Guidewire Developer capacity
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Must currently reside in Canada and be legally actively allowed to work in Canada
  • Deep know how of Scrum or other Agile development methodologies
  • Deep know how of XML, Code Scan Plugin/Tools, Code Coverage, GIT/TFS/Subversion, GUnit, Netsparker, Sonarqube and relevant technologies
  • Expertise in Guidewire API, Modelling
