Guidewire Systems Developer Hybrid

Develop Guidewire system solutions for CGL’s IT Solution Delivery team, using Gosu and Java in a hybrid, two-day office model. Support complex initiatives while documenting processes and training teammates.

As a Systems Developer, you will formulate programs, maintain code, and contribute to diverse technology initiatives. Your experience with Guidewire products, web services, REST or SOAP APIs, and cloud-native deployments will support solution delivery. You will also apply Agile practices, testing, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate assigned tasks and complete status reports
  • Design and code features of small to medium complexity
  • Contribute to implementation and back-out plans
  • Assist unit, system, and user acceptance testing
  • Maintain technical documentation and support project reviews

Requirements:

  • Three years of information technology or related experience
  • Post-secondary education in information technology or computer science
  • At least one year using Java object-oriented programming
  • Guidewire experience with configuration and Gosu development
  • Proficiency in English for complex documents and daily reports
