Hardware Engineer

In this role you will contribute to the design and development of electronic hardware across a broad product range for global customers. You’ll work within a collaborative engineering culture that values innovation and supports engineers from defined briefs to independent concepts. You will engage in the full electronics design lifecycle and collaborate with software, mechanical, test and manufacturing teams. • design and develop electronics hardware across the full lifecycle
• work on high-speed digital designs and related areas
• contribute to analogue, power electronics, RF, FPGA or embedded software as relevant
• select components and ensure sound PCB layout practices
• use Altium for schematic capture and layout
• collaborate with software, mechanical, test and manufacturing teams
• take ownership of defined briefs and explore own ideas for new products

• 3+ years hardware design experience
• Experience with high-speed digital design
• Exposure to analogue, power electronics, RF, FPGA, or embedded software beneficial
• Experience of Altium
• Component selection
• Understanding of PCB layout
• Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team across the full electronics design lifecycle
