Overview

In this hands-on reliability engineering role, you apply structured methods to hardware products in New Product Development and sustaining engineering. You will work at the bench with cross-functional teams to build reliability into our products, from planning tests to documented conclusions. Your work shapes product quality, field performance, and lifetime robustness. You’ll drive improvements and serve as the reliability expert on programs, contributing to a mission-driven culture that safeguards essential resources.

Responsibilities
  • Own and execute reliability test programs (HALT, ALT, vibration, thermal cycling) from planning to documented conclusions with hands-on setup
  • Lead root cause analysis for electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical failures
  • Drive DFMEA activities in NPD teams, track mitigations, and close with engineering evidence
  • Maintain and improve the FRACAS process; derive actionable improvements from field, warranty and service data
  • Perform component and assembly lifetime assessments; collaborate with suppliers on reliability data and qualifications
  • Provide clear, traceable technical documentation and present findings to engineering teams
  • Act as the go-to reliability resource on cross-functional NPD programs with accountable outcomes
Key requirements
  • Degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics or related engineering discipline
  • Hands-on experience in reliability testing and failure analysis
  • Solid knowledge of reliability methods: FMEA/DFMEA, FRACAS, Weibull analysis, accelerated life testing
  • Proficient with data analysis tools (Excel, Python or similar) and able to draw defensible conclusions from data
  • Structured, ownership-oriented problem solver who closes problems
  • Ability to work independently and drive progress without close supervision
