Overview
In this role you will lead the core development of a new web product for a London fintech data business. You will work on a greenfield project, building internal and external applications to display and analyse complex data. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and stay abreast of the latest FP technologies. This is an opportunity to own a major project that shapes data-driven solutions for a growing client base.
Responsibilities- Lead core development of a greenfield web product
- Build internal and external applications for data display and analytics
- Deliver high-quality, low-latency services in a multi-site setup
- Stay current with latest functional programming technologies
- Take ownership of a major project and drive technical direction
- Around 4 years of commercial experience
- Functional programming experience of 2+ years
- Commercial experience in Haskell or Scala
- KnockoutJS
- SQL / MySQL / NoSQL
- Clojure would be an added benefit
- Appetite for delivering solutions to complex problems
