Overview

In this role you will lead the core development of a brand-new, greenfield web product for a London fintech data company. You will architect and build high-impact applications that display and analyse complex data, supporting a multi-site, high-volume low-latency service. The position emphasizes ownership and delivery of a major project with cutting-edge FP tech, and offers the chance to shape a secret product from the ground up. This is an opportunity to work with top FP languages and drive meaningful technical impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead core development of a greenfield web product
  • Build internal and external applications to display and analyse complex data
  • Own design and delivery of a high-volume, low-latency service
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement scalable FP solutions
  • Stay current with the latest technologies and assume responsibility for a major project
Key requirements
  • Around 4 years of commercial experience
  • Functional programming experience of 2+ years
  • Commercial experience in Haskell or Scala
  • KnockoutJS
  • SQL/MySQL/NoSQL
