Head of Data Centre UK/I

In this role you will shape the UK&I Data Centres strategy within JLL’s Project and Development Services, leading a high-impact team and driving growth. You’ll partner with clients and internal experts to capture opportunities across hyperscalers, colocation providers, and enterprise occupiers, while steering delivery, governance, and profitability. You’ll lead with vision, scale capabilities, and embed AI-driven delivery improvements to sustain competitive advantage. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of strategy, client value, and operations.

• Develop and own a growth strategy for the UK&I Data Centres market
• Identify target client segments and market entry strategies for sub-sectors (edge, AI infrastructure, modular solutions)
• Set revenue and profitability targets aligned with business objectives
• Establish strategic partnerships with industry players and technology providers
• Monitor trends, competition, and regulation to inform direction
• Build a case for capability investment, expansion, and service development
• Recruit and build a best-in-class DC specialist team across UK&I
• Identify capability gaps and prioritize hires in core service lines (project and cost management; DC consultancy)
• Collaborate with HR/Talent Acquisition to attract senior DC professionals
• Develop employee value propositions and champion diversity in recruitment
• Lead client relationship management and proposal/bid processes for DC work
• Deliver competitive win strategies through bid responses and negotiations
• Oversee delivery of key DC projects and maintain technical oversight
• Resource planning and staffing across UK&I; participate in talent acquisition
• Promote knowledge management and innovative delivery methodologies, including AI tools
• Represent PDS in the UK&I DC market and coordinate with EM•EA teams
• Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars

• Significant DC sector experience (10+ years) with a proven track record in a similar role
• Chartered professional status (MRICS, CIBSE, MAPM)
• Ability to manage end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects from planning to delivery
• Strong DC technical and management background
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, independent and reliable
• Strong interpersonal and executive-level presentation skills
• Proven leadership as a business and team leader
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate vision into executable plans
