Head of Data Engineering

As Head of Data Engineering, you will lead the data engineering function in a greenfield fintech initiative, shaping the data platform strategy and governance. You will mentor a nulti-cloud data team to design, build, and maintain scalable pipelines and distributed architectures that meet security and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality data solutions for the product and business. This role offers impact at scale, enabling data-driven decisions across the organization and driving a robust, cost-efficient data stack.

• Lead and mentor the data engineering team to deliver data platforms, pipelines, and infrastructure for a multi-cloud product
• Design, develop and implement scalable, cost-effective and secure distributed architectures
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with data security regulations
• Design and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes from diverse sources

• Experience leading data engineering teams
• Proficiency with a multi-cloud stack (AWS, GCP)
• Strong knowledge of data pipelines and distributed architectures
