In this senior leadership role you will build and lead Mosaic Rooms' fundraising and philanthropy function to secure a resilient, mission-driven income base. You will work with the Director and the Board to develop ethical, sustainable fundraising across trusts, public funding, individual giving and corporate philanthropy. You’ll design fundraising infrastructures and nurture community-rooted partnerships to support the organisation’s artistic and community mission. This role is ideal for an experienced fundraiser who thrives in collaborative, values-led environments and can translate strategy into impact.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a five-year fundraising strategy with stronger capacity and systems
- Set annual fundraising priorities, income targets and growth plans; monitor performance
- Identify opportunities, assess risk and respond to funding challenges
- Identify new trusts, foundations and public funding opportunities; develop compelling cases for support
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective funders; oversee funding applications, ensuring timely submission and compliance
- Lead philanthropy programme; cultivate relationships with donors, patrons and corporate supporters
- Prepare reports, manage reporting requirements, ensure compliance, oversee operations, and line-manage the team
- Minimum 5 years' fundraising experience in the arts or cultural/charity sector
- Knowledge of fundraising landscape and government policies
- Experience securing funds from trusts, foundations, public funders and major donors
- Experience building relationships with donors and managing individual giving programmes
- Excellent communication and case for support writing skills
- Track record of meeting funding targets, budget management and financial planning
- Strong evaluation, strategic planning and reporting skills
- Strong IT and CRM skills with GDPR compliance
- Ability to take initiative, work collaboratively and prioritise in a busy environment
