Head of ICT Operations

Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking a Head of ICT Operations for an initial nine - twelve month FTC assignment.

Location: Hybrid working - London

About the role: You will be responsible for a team of technologists and maintaining performant digital services during the term of appointment and will need to work closely with other leads to ensure core business services are supporting and collaborating with the various change programmes.

The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance have a strong background in delivery Head of ICT support, with the following skills and experience:

• Extensive leadership and management abilities, with a proven track record of managing and motivating technology teams, resource management, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
• Experience of managing ICT operations to defined service standards and related contractual arrangements.
• Expertise in release and deployment management, ensuring smooth and controlled transitions of new or updated services into the live environment.
• Experience in cybersecurity management & information security.
• Ability to communicate effectively with key external stakeholders.
