Head of IT Architecture & Data

Salary: £110,000 - 120,000 per year

Requirements:

• Proven enterprise architecture leadership experience, including data architecture.
• Experience defining strategy, standards, governance and roadmaps in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of business, application, data, integration and technology architecture.
• Experience designing scalable, resilient and supportable solutions across cloud and SaaS environments.
• Good knowledge of data governance, AI governance, risk, assurance and control.
• The ability to explain complex topics clearly and influence senior stakeholders with credibility.
• Experience in a regulated or professional services environment would be advantageous.
• A blended background in IT Architecture, Data and Data Governance.
• Familiarity with CISO set‑ups.
• Hands‑on and strategic leadership experience.
• A technical background such as Solution Architecture or Data Architecture, progressing into leadership.
• Proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise architecture across IT Architecture, Data and Data Governance.
• Define strategy, standards, governance and roadmaps in a complex environment.
• Design scalable, resilient and supportable solutions across cloud and SaaS environments.
• Provide hands‑on and strategic leadership.
• Engage with and influence senior stakeholders clearly and credibly.
• Travel to other UK sites on occasions.
• Work in a hybrid arrangement, with time in the office circa 2 days per week.
