Overview
As Head of Internal IT Audit & Transformation, you lead a specialist technology audit portfolio within a complex financial services environment. You will oversee risk-based IT and transformation audits, partner with executive stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across Internal Audit. You shape audit strategy and provide trusted insight on emerging technology and business risks. You will lead a high-performing team and influence change at a senior level, delivering high-quality assurance and practical value.
Responsibilities- Lead the IT and Transformation audit portfolio
- Oversee technology and business audit engagements from planning through reporting
- Partner with Executive stakeholders to provide assurance and strategic insight
- Identify emerging technology risks and inform the annual audit plan
- Line-manager and develop Internal Audit professionals
- Drive continuous improvement of audit methodology and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with Group Audit and external partners to deliver high-quality assurance
- Significant Internal Audit leadership experience within financial services
- Strong expertise in IT Audit, technology risk, cyber security and digital transformation
- Proven experience managing senior stakeholders and leading complex audit portfolios
- Relevant audit qualification such as CIA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with technology certifications advantageous
