You’ll guide architecture, drive performance and reliability, and mentor cross-functional teams including QA. You’ll shape technical strategy and spearhead initiatives that unlock new business lines and operational efficiency. - Manage and develop a team of software engineers
- Manage and develop a team of independent QA engineers for automated testing
- Provide technical direction on performance, reliability and functionality
- Contribute to operational strategy and performance with the management team
- Design, engineer, and test highly reliable services
- Lead company-wide projects to develop new business lines and improve efficiency
- Lead others in debugging complex engineering and operational problems
- Operate in an agile, fast-paced development environment and evangelise new technologies
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Degree in Computer Science or a STEM Subject
- Strong knowledge of equities and derivatives markets
- Strong background in C++
- Strong experience in automated testing, unit testing
- Familiar with open source software (evaluation/procurement, licensing issues)
