In this leadership role, you will steer a technical team to deliver ultra low-latency trading services for a global financial client. You’ll shape architecture, performance, and reliability while aligning with cross-functional goals and an ambitious growth trajectory. You’ll lead a technical, high-skill team to prototype and adopt innovative technologies that drive competitive advantage. This is a hands-on management position for techies who want to influence both people and product at scale.

- Manage and develop a team of 20 software engineers
- Manage and develop a team of independent QA engineers responsible for automated testing platform and test cases
- Provide technical direction on performance, reliability, and functionality
- Contribute to operational strategy and performance with the management team
- Design, engineer, and test highly reliable services
- Lead company-wide projects to develop new business lines and improve operational efficiency
- Guide others in debugging complex engineering and operational problems
- Work in an agile, fast-paced development environment and evangelise new technologies to shape the architecture
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Degree in Computer Science or a STEM subject
- Strong knowledge of trading and high-demand systems
- Ability to read code in Java, C++, or Python
- Strong experience in automated testing teams and unit testing
