Healthcare Data Engineer Databricks

Build healthcare data platforms at McKesson using Databricks and Python while working in a Flex and Connect model with two office days weekly.

McKesson Provider Solutions seeks a hands-on Data Specialist supporting enterprise-scale healthcare data platforms. You will design pipelines, modern analytics solutions, and cloud-based engineering capabilities for reporting and data-driven decisions. The work combines SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, and healthcare data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable pipelines with Databricks, Delta Lake, Spark, SQL, and Python
• Build ETL and ELT processes for reporting and analytics
• Develop data models for high-performance business intelligence workloads
• Implement validation, monitoring, observability, governance, and security
• Support orchestration, CI/CD, and cloud modernization initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Four years of relevant experience
• Three years using SQL and relational databases
• Two years using Python and Databricks or Spark
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Agile, GitHub, and CI/CD
