Healthcare Informatics Systems Analyst

Support healthcare technology and workflow optimization as a full-time Health Informatics Analyst onsite at Hotel Dieu Shaver in St. Catharines.

Reporting to the Director of Health Informatics and Patient Relations, this analyst maintains the Hospital Information System and other applications. The work includes troubleshooting, training, onboarding, testing, and supporting digital health adoption. You will collaborate with clinicians, physicians, operational leaders, vendors, and regional partners across system activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support for HIS and enterprise applications
• Troubleshoot incidents and escalate support requests when required
• Develop and deliver classroom, virtual, and individual training
• Analyze workflows and recommend system improvements
• Coordinate testing, implementations, upgrades, and user readiness

Requirements:

• College diploma or university degree in Health Informatics or related field
• Three to five years’ informatics or health IT experience preferred
• Experience with HIS implementation, training, and user support
• Understanding of clinical and operational healthcare workflows
• Ability to communicate with clinical and non-clinical partners
