Hematology/Oncology Physician

Coverage: Scheduled, No Call

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• 8:00 AM 5:00 PM , with a 1-hour lunch break
• 5 days per month
• Remote inbox coverage
• No call

• Adult and geriatric patients
• Average patients per day
• Outpatient setting
• Hospital and clinic privileges required; both are located in the same building
• Working solo
• Infusion and Medical Oncology/Hematology
• Bone marrow biopsy

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Alaska license required at time of presentation
• BLS or ACLS required
• PALS preferred
• DEA required
• 24 months of case logs: Applicant must provide documentation of provision of hematology/medical oncology services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months (waived for applicants who completed training during the previous year).
• EPIC EMR

• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• COVID-19 vaccine required no exemptions
• Fast credentialing is available for clean files
• Standard credentialing process: approximately 90 days from when the application is sent.
