Med Ninjas is seeking a Hematology Oncologist for long term locum tenens coverage at a inpatient facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan

The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from October 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026

Position Type: Locum Tenens

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Start Date: October 1, 2025
End Date: December 31, 2026

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
Setting: Inpatient consult service, outpatient clinic & infusion center
Responsibilities: Inpatient hematology consultations, outpatient hematology/oncology care, infusion center coverage, tumor board participation, ordering tests and imaging, and prescribing
Required Procedures: FNA/Biopsy
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: 5 inpatient APPs covering 2 hospitals, 6 outpatient APPs, and nursing support
Days Per Month: Full-time, Monday-Friday
On-Call/Weekends: Shared call pool approximately 1:5 with APP support; 5p-7a

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified
  • Active Michigan License strongly preferred; candidates needing to obtain a license may be considered
  • BLS Certified
  • Must be available full-time
