Hematology/Oncology Physician
GQR Recruiting Resources
A hospital-based cancer center in Grand Rapids, Michigan needs a hematologist oncologist from now through December 31, 2026. The schedule is flexible: two to five days a week and two to four weeks a month, so you can build it around your own calendar.
This is mostly hematology, more than 90 percent, and benign hematology patients outnumber malignant ones. It is a community practice, so there is no bone marrow transplant or academic-level work. A small share of solid tumor patients may land on your schedule.
Outpatient clinic runs Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, about 15 patients a day, with inpatient consults at 10 to 15 patients a day and an attached infusion center. You will have a team of APPs, a radiation oncologist on site, and Epic. After-hours call is a shared pool at 1 in 5, 5pm to 7am, with APP support.
Pay is $262.50 an hour. Night call pays $375 per shift and callback pays $393.75 an hour. Travel is covered. Start as soon as you are credentialed, and credentialing can be expedited with a clean background.
