Hematology/Oncology Physician

We have an exciting opportunity to help expand an already established practice with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology in Winter Park, Florida. The practice is looking for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained hematologist oncologist to join our established oncology team and provide high-quality, comprehensive cancer care to patients in the Winter Park community.

• This opportunity would provide inpatient and outpatient services, caring for a variety of hematology and oncology patients in the Winter Park market.
• The physician will have the opportunity to treat patients with a broad range of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors.
• Infusion, radiation oncology, surgical services, and other multidisciplinary resources are available throughout the AdventHealth network.
• Access to multidisciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials, including Phase I trials, and tumor boards.
• The ideal candidate will be interested in practice growth and building strong relationships within the Winter Park community and surrounding referral network.
• Call responsibilities would be shared with other physicians within the practice, including weekend coverage.
• The practice is supported by nurse navigators, social workers, chaplain services, pharmacy, nutrition, and other multidisciplinary team members.
• Access to an extended network of medical oncology practices throughout the Greater Orlando area.

Requirements of the position include:

• Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification or eligibility in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• Experience with practice growth and development is preferred.
