Locums Hematology/Oncology Edmonds, WA (WA license or IMLC) Why This Role

• Full-time, ongoing opportunity with a 6-month commitment
• Four clinical days plus one administrative day weekly
• Established Hematology/Oncology practice
• Extensive RN, APP, and clinical support
• Temporary privileges available
Assignment Details
• Start: ASAP, once privileged
• Duration: Ongoing; minimum 6-month commitment
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9a-5p
• Clinical days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
• Administrative day: Thursday
• Coverage requirement: Full-time, 4 weeks/month
• Coverage type: Clinic + Call
• Call: Weeknight beeper and 24-hour weekend beeper
• Call rotation: 1:5
• Call response: 30 minutes
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Patient volume: Approximately 20 patients/shift
• Department beds: 19
• Admissions: Not required
• Support: 40 RNs, 6 MAs, 3 APPs, and 7 office staff
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 30-90 days; temporary privileges available
• Hospital privileges required
Clinical Details
• Hematology/Oncology evaluations and follow-up
• Management of hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Outpatient clinic care
• Inpatient Hematology/Oncology coverage as applicable
• Weeknight and weekend call coverage
• Collaboration with established nursing and APP teams
• No APP or resident supervision required
Requirements
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Active WA medical license or IMLC
• BLS required
• DEA required
• Current CV required with submission
• Hospital privileges required
• Must be comfortable with weeknight and weekend beeper call
• Full-time availability required
• Minimum 6-month commitment
Compensation
• Facility is accepting bids
• Regular, orientation, overtime, holiday, night call, 24-hour call, and callback rates requested
• Malpractice provided
• Long-term housing subject to preapproval
• Travel reimbursement to be confirmed
