We are seeking a Permanent Hematology Oncologist in Anderson, South Carolina.

Med Ninjas is seeking a Hematology Oncologist for long term locum tenens coverage at a outpatient facility located in Anderson, SC

The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date

Permanent Hematology Oncologist

Position Type: Permanent

Location: South Carolina
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with slight variations possible; minimum 32 patient-contact hours + on call
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Permanent

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult oncology and hematology patients
Setting: Outpatient cancer center with limited inpatient oncology rounding
Responsibilities: Provide outpatient hematology/oncology care, cover practice call and inpatient oncology patients, manage approximately 15-25 patients per day, and collaborate with the oncology team
Required Procedures: Hematology and Medical Oncology clinical care
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Oncology supportive services, infusion team, onsite pharmacy, laboratory, and radiation oncology
Days Per Month: Full-time, Monday-Friday
On-Call/Weekends: Practice call and inpatient oncology coverage; no weekend requirements

Submission Requirements:

• Truly Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology
• Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Medical Oncology
• SC License or willing to obtain
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days, required at presentation
