Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient Hematology and Oncology coverage
• Inpatient work includes rounding on oncology inpatients and handling consults
• Support includes dedicated exam nurse, nursing and administrative staff, two other physicians, and an APP
• Typical daily volume, 2 to 3 inpatients, 1 admission, 2 consults

Schedule

• Need is 7 consecutive shifts per month
• Scheduled hours include day coverage plus night call, weekend coverage is 24 hour call
• Call expectation includes 30 minute response time, low call volume, available after hours for clinical care questions
• Estimated start date is December 2026

Cases and Procedures

• Oncology inpatient rounding and consult coverage
• Consults include breast, lung, colon, prostate, melanoma, lymphoma, and hematology

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology
• Board Eligible within 5 years
• BLS and DEA required
