The Liver Institute at Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a full-time Transplant Hepatologist to join our team. Our practice provides comprehensive care for the full range of liver disease, including chronic liver disease, cirrhosis, viral hepatitis, liver cancer, and liver transplant evaluation and follow-up. Our 14 outreach clinics across Texas allow patients to receive care close to home, and our hepatologists travel regularly to those sites.

The program is supported by a collaborative team of experienced transplant hepatologists, transplant surgeons, and dedicated specialists in transplant nephrology, psychology, infectious disease, gastroenterology, oncology, and interventional radiology.

Position Details

• Full-time transplant hepatology practice
• Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient care
• Inpatient call 1:8 rotation at Methodist Dallas Medical Center
• Dedicated regional outreach clinics with scheduled travel to satellite locations
• Supported by dedicated inpatient and outpatient APPs
• Endoscopy block time at Methodist Dallas Medical Center
• Opportunities for clinical research, teaching, and mentorship of residents and GI fellows
• Participation in weekly meetings: clinic operations, radiology rounds, tumor board, and liver transplant selection

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Transplant Hepatology
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required
