HHSRS Technical Officer

Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a local housing provider, to appoint a Technical Officer with experience of HHSRS to undertake low level disrepair inspections of properties within the portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to kick-start a career asBuilding Surveyor within the Housing sector.

Experience Required:

• Some relevant experience of working in a building maintenance role and HHSRS is essential.
• Experience of working in a diverse environment including liaising with external and internal clients, but most importantly, residents.
• Ability to prepare estimates, specifications and contracts (to deadlines).
• Be proactive and engaging in relationships with customers and Housing colleagues
• Ability to record and monitor any payments made to sub-contractors and apply Schedule of Rates to Sub-contractors work.
• Be able to produce spreadsheets, and maintain/update databases.
• Able and confident in the production and delivery of presentations to residents and other groups
• Be proactive and engaging in relationships with customers, contractors and other stakeholders
