Hospice/Palliative Medicine Physician

Opportunity Highlights

• Fulltime, Monday-Friday, 40-hour workweek
• Primarily inpatient palliative care consult service with some in clinic patient follow up
• Interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplaincy, and case management

• Light call, shared rotation, typically phone based
• Highly desirable community 45 minutes from New Orleans, known for excellent schools, safety, outdoor recreation, and strong quality of life

• Fellowship training in Hospice & Palliative Medicine
• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine
• BLS and ACLS required
• Active Louisiana license (by start date)
