Hospital Information Systems Analyst

Apply Hospital Information System expertise and troubleshooting skills as an onsite, permanent full-time analyst at Hotel Dieu Shaver in St. Catharines.

The Health Informatics Analyst supports HIS, UKG, Emerald, WellSky, Microsoft 365, and other approved digital health technologies. Reporting to the Director of Health Informatics and Patient Relations, you will manage support requests, maintain documentation, assist application changes, and resolve clinical, operational, and business system issues. The position also supports account administration and security role assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary support resource for HIS and enterprise applications
• Investigate incidents, identify causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Manage support requests and coordinate technical issue resolution
• Maintain application documentation, configurations, and system inventories
• Support upgrades, patches, enhancements, and maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Health Informatics, Health Information Management, or related postsecondary education
• Three to five years’ healthcare informatics or health IT experience preferred
• Familiarity with Oracle Health or major HIS platforms is an asset
• Analytical skills for assessing data and identifying trends
• Ability to manage multiple priorities using project management principles

Use HIS support, incident resolution, application maintenance, and healthcare workflow knowledge across Hotel Dieu Shaver’s systems.
