What You ll Do

• Provide obstetric inpatient coverage in a Level 1 Basic NICU setting
• Manage approximately 15 patient encounters monthly, including deliveries and gynecological care
• Collaborate with hospital staff via the Epic EMR system
• Assist with obstetric emergencies and patient management
• Provide backup OB/GYN call coverage
• Support seamless patient care during shifts, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes

What You Need
Required:

• Medical license (or willingness to obtain Mississippi license)
• Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred
• Ability to perform obstetric assessments and manage inpatient care

Preferred:

• Certification in OB/GYN or related specialty
• Experience working with Epic EMR

This position involves providing obstetric hospitalist services at a leading hospital in Meridian, MS. The facility handles approximately 884 births annually and features a Level 1 NICU. The hospital employs Epic EMR for documentation and provides in-house anesthesia coverage 24/7, supporting comprehensive patient care.
