This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative hospitalmedicine team while caring for adult inpatients in a well-supported clinicalenvironment.

PositionHighlights

  • Location: Multiple facilities near Midland, MI
  • Setting: Inpatient Hospital Medicine
  • Schedule: Preferred coverage in 3-4 consecutive day stretches
  • EMR: Epic with Dragon dictation

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for hospitalized adult patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform admissions, daily rounding, discharges, and care coordination
  • Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic imaging, and other tests
  • Document patient encounters accurately using Epic and Dragon
  • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care while maintaining efficient patient flow

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
  • Active Michigan medical license required
  • Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • All required certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association
