REQUIRED PROCEDURES

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABMS)
  • Licenses: Active NY license
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA with NY address, schedules 2-5
  • Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS; Infection Control Certificate
  • Experience: Residency trained in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; new grads accepted, 1-2 years preferred
  • Other Qualifications: Case logs and CME documentation from previous two years; immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, PPD, flu shot) required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide day coverage as Hospitalist, managing inpatients and open ICU patients
  • Respond to codes and rapid response teams
  • Collaborate with NP/PA and support staff
  • Manage ventilator patients
  • Provide ICU management with pulmonary support
