Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts; 7 days on/7 days off. Coverage begins with shifts every 4 weeks, transitioning to every other week starting in December.

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult inpatient patients; approximately 16 patients per day
Setting: Hospital-based inpatient practice
Responsibilities: Round on inpatient patients, provide intermittent patient coverage, and provide occasional code coverage. APP support is available for admissions.
Required Procedures: Internal Medicine; adult inpatient care without ICU/CCU
EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff: APP support for admissions
Days Per Month: 7 days on/7 days off
On-Call/Weekends: Weekend coverage required; on-call not applicable
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in the required specialty; Michigan medical license in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications; verbal DEA confirmation required at name clear
- NPDB report
