Practice Setting

• Inpatient adult Hospital Medicine
• Midland, 325 beds, closed ICU with intensivist available 24/7, average census around 20 patients each
• Alma, 80 beds, average census around 45 to 50, typically 15 to 18 per provider, open ICU with pulmonologist available 24/7
• Tawas, 47 bed acute inpatient facility, census up to 15 plus rapid responses and new admits, patients split between med surg and a step down style CCU

Schedule

• 3 to 4 day stretches preferred
• Shift types include daytime rounding, daytime admitting, and nights
• Tawas coverage includes daytime shift with on call at night
• Additional dates are expected to be added as needs evolve

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine accepted
• Michigan license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only, Open to IMLC Physicians
• ACLS and ACGME approved residency required
• 50 inpatient case logs within the last 12 months required for verification
