- Other Qualifications: Residency in IM, FM, or HM; clinical activity logs for previous 24 months; CME certificates for previous 2 years; must be comfortable reading own EKGs
- Provide hospitalist coverage including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Manage an average of 66 patient encounters (including admits) per 24-hour period.
- Work a 7 on/7 off block schedule with minimum of 4 shifts.
- Nocturnist duties: manage admissions averaging 7-9 per night.
- Perform rounding and patient care in a 139-bed acute care facility with open ICU.
