The practice offers dedicated admission support, intensivist collaboration, extensive specialty backup, surgical co-management support and a team-oriented practice environment.Opportunity Highlights:

• Full-time Hospitalist opportunity
• Hospital employee position
• Day shift: 7 AM-7 PM
• Night shift: 7 PM-7 AM
• Day schedule runs Tuesday through Monday
• Night schedule runs Monday through Sunday
• Dedicated admitter Tuesday through Friday, 9 AM-7 PM
• Dedicated admitter generally handles the majority of admissions
• Average day-rounder census: 14-16 patients
• Average nighttime admissions: 4-6 patients per physician
• Open ICU with dedicated intensivist service available for support
• One nocturnist dedicated to the ICU and one dedicated to the floors at night
• Evening swing physician Monday-Thursday, 7 PM-11 PM
• PA support for surgical co-management
• Lines are a plus but not required
• ACLS required
• Epic EMR with Dragon dictation
• Extensive specialty backup including Cardiology, Critical Care/Pulmonology, CT Surgery, General Surgery, GI, Hematology/Oncology, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Vascular Surgery and other specialties
• 23 full-time physicians and 1 full-time PA in the group
