Hospitalist Physician Locums Job in California Around 15 Shifts Per Month 1/1/2027 - Ongoing Assignment

Beginning January 1, 2027 - ongoing
Credentialing time frame: 60-90 days

Shift Details
Approximately 15 shifts per month
Day shift: 7am-7pm or swing shift (11am-9pm)
Weekend coverage is part of the schedule

Requirements
Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
California state license
BLS, ACLS
DEA
Clean malpractice - Highly Preferred

Assignment Details
Inpatient shifts on site
Duties include admissions, follow-up visits in house, and discharge
EMR: Cerner
8-10 admissions per shift
14-16 patients per day
Cases include General Medicine, some consultation in Maternal Child, and some ICU
1-2 years of experience in inpatient care, either as a locum or employed hospitalist, is preferred
