Schedule : 7 ON and 7 OFF

7am - 7pm, Monday - Friday + 1 weekend day (10-hour shift)

70 hours total every other week - No on call

Job Description:

Amergis is seeking an experienced Hospitalist Physician Assistant to provide high-quality inpatient medical care within a collaborative acute-care hospital environment. This role focuses on managing adult hospitalized patients through comprehensive assessments, daily rounding, treatment planning, diagnostic interpretation, discharge coordination, and multidisciplinary care collaboration, all while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and professionalism. The ideal provider is passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to diverse patient populations, including individuals facing socioeconomic, medical, and other vulnerabilities that may impact their healthcare outcomes. Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to advocating for patients while supporting safe, equitable, and dignified care throughout the hospitalization process. This position offers a balanced 7-on/7-off schedule with no call responsibilities and no invasive bedside procedures.
