Permanent - Chillicothe, Ohio NP/PA Hospitalist Opportunity

Clinical Role RecruitWell is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for permanent Hospitalist opportunities in Chillicothe, Ohio. Both daytime and nocturnist positions are available. This role is based in a closed ICU environment and focuses on admissions, cross-coverage, and inpatient management without procedural responsibilities.

Assignment Details

• Permanent position

• Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Daytime and nocturnist opportunities available

• Nocturnist position requires exclusive overnight coverage

• Closed ICU

• No procedures required

Clinical Details & Responsibilities

• Manage hospitalized adult patients

• Complete admissions

• Respond to cross-coverage calls

• Provide ongoing inpatient management

• Collaborate with Hospitalist and Nocturnist physicians

• Work independently within the established Hospitalist team

• Deliver overnight patient care for the nocturnist position

• Complete timely inpatient documentation

Support & Technology

• Closed ICU

• Hospitalist and Nocturnist physician support

• Independent APP practice model

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Nurse Practitioners must be Acute Care trained

• Family Medicine-trained Nurse Practitioners will not be considered

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Hospitalist experience required

• No new graduates

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Visa sponsorship is not available

• Nocturnist candidates must be comfortable working exclusively overnight shifts
