Hospitality Accounting Manager

Lead accounting and financial reporting for Canadian Niagara Hotels Group across diverse hospitality businesses near iconic Niagara Falls. Advanced Excel and analysis are central.

The Accounting Manager oversees accounting and reporting across multiple business units while supporting operational decisions. You will prepare statements, reconciliations, forecasts, and variance analysis. The role also supports dashboards, automation, ERP enhancements, and finance transformation initiatives with senior finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead accurate month-end close activities for assigned business units
• Prepare statements, reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
• Partner with operations on revenue, margins, labour, and costs
• Support budgets, forecasts, scenario analysis, and financial modelling
• Maintain controls and mentor junior finance team members

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• CPA designation completed or in progress
• Four to seven years progressive accounting or finance experience
• Advanced Excel skills with models, pivots, lookups, and large datasets
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving capabilities
