Overview

In deze rol leid je een hosting- en netwerkteam binnen een gereguleerde financiële omgeving, gericht op beschikbaarheid, veerkracht en security van enterprise hosting- en netwerkplatforms. Je werkt nauw samen met senior technologierisico- en business stakeholders om regulatory-compliance en business continuity te waarborgen. Je ontwikkelt en ranige operationele governance en zet verbeteringen door via standaardisatie, automatisering en IaC. Deze positie biedt de kans om infrastructurele risico's te beheersen en een stevige, beveiligde en efficiënte infrastructuur te vormen die de bedrijfsdoelstellingen ondersteunt.

Responsibilities
  • Leads and develops the hosting and network engineering team with clear objectives and continuous improvement
  • Owns governance of on-premises and co-location hosting environments for business-critical systems
  • Oversees virtualization (VMware vSphere, NSX), compute, and enterprise storage (NetApp SAN/NAS/HCI)
  • Defines and enforces backup, DR, and resilience strategies aligned to RPO/RTO and regulatory needs
  • Establishes security baselines and configuration standards in line with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and risk frameworks
  • Drives service improvement via standardisation, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Manages third-party suppliers including contract negotiation, SLA governance, and performance reviews
  • Acts as senior escalation point, communicating infrastructure risk and resilience to leadership
Key requirements
  • Experience managing hosting and network teams in regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of enterprise hosting, data centre operations, and network governance at scale
  • Proven track record of leading teams, improving operational maturity, and embedding controls
  • Deep awareness of infrastructure risk management, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement to influence senior/non-technical audiences
