Hotel Financial Controller Hyatt Place

Lead hotel finance for Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre with hands-on accounting, reporting, and financial controls across property operations. Support accurate decisions within an owner-managed model.

The Hotel Financial Controller leads finance and accounting for Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre and Luxe Convention Centre. This experienced position requires general ledger expertise, month-end closing, reconciliations, and hospitality knowledge. You will work with ownership, the General Manager, department heads, and external accounting partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead property finance and accounting operations
• Oversee monthly closing, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
• Review external bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services
• Reconcile revenue across hotel systems and bank accounts
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and performance analysis

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent relevant experience
• Three to five years of progressive finance experience
• Knowledge of general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll reconciliations
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Hospitality finance, OPERA, CPA, or implementation experience preferred
