Overview

In this role you will analyse and optimise HPC and AI applications for high-impact customers across EMEA and LATAM. You will work onsite with UK clients and remotely with regional teams, driving performance, scalability, and value from HPC/AI investments. You’ll act as a bridge between customer support and R&D, shaping workloads and tooling. This is a hands-on, collaborative role in a fast-moving, research-led environment with a clear impact on customers’ scientific and engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical expertise to HPE HPC and AI customer environments across EMEA and LATAM
  • Analyse applications and workloads to identify performance, optimisation, and scalability opportunities
  • Investigate complex software and infrastructure issues and liaise between customer support and R&D
  • Support large-scale HPC and AI bids and tenders with technical input
  • Deliver technical workshops, trainings, and presentations for customers and colleagues
  • Share knowledge and best practices within the team and HPC/AI community
  • Contribute to development of tools, methodologies, and research initiatives to improve productivity and service delivery
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • UK citizenship with ability to obtain security clearances
  • Strong understanding of HPC/AI architectures and performance analysis techniques
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues with engineering/R&D teams
  • Programming in C/C++/Fortran; strong Python
  • Experience with CUDA/OpenACC/OpenMP Offload
  • Knowledge of MPI and OpenMP parallel frameworks
  • Familiarity with build systems, scripting, batch processing
  • Experience using performance profiling and optimisation tools
  • Strong communication skills; fluent English
