HPC Systems Engineer

In this role, you will manage and develop the High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems and Scientific Computing services for a mission-driven research environment. You’ll work with a large-scale infrastructure, including a 1,200-core HPC cluster and a 24PB data storage service, shaping design, integration, and implementation. The position requires hands-on Linux and scripting work, bug patching, and building new servers to support cutting-edge research. You’ll join a collaborative team and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues, contributing to life-saving research through advanced technology.
Responsibilities- Manage and develop HPC systems and scientific computing services
- Design, integrate, and implement HPC infrastructure
- Patch bugs and patch management on the infrastructure
- Build new servers to support research activities
- Hands-on Linux and scripting to maintain and improve systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional team and communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Work with advanced technology in a mission-driven environment
