Overview

As HR Systems Associate, you support the day-to-day operation and quality of our HR systems, with a focus on Workday. You will work within the HR Analytics & Systems team to ensure accurate data, smooth HR processes, and reliable user experiences. You’ll contribute to system enhancements, testing, and data transfers, collaborating with HR, IT and payroll stakeholders. This is a data-led role at a regulator that values continuous improvement and impactful people systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administration and user support for Workday and other HR systems, resolving issues and ensuring smooth HR processes
  • Support core HR processes within Workday, ensuring transactions are accurate and aligned with procedures
  • Perform routine system administration and maintenance, including reference data updates and documentation
  • Support data quality and governance through audits, validation checks, reporting and data corrections
  • Prepare and validate Workday EIB data loads and support integrations and data transfers
  • Support Workday releases, enhancements and projects through testing, UAT, and post-release activities
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver a positive user experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, data quality, and operational processes
Key requirements
  • Proven experience using, supporting or administering Workday or another HR system in an operational environment
  • Experience with core HR processes across the employee lifecycle and maintaining accurate data
  • Experience supporting HR system users and delivering a positive user experience
  • Experience with HR system administration, maintenance, testing and configuration (reference data, notifications, business processes)
  • Experience working with HR data, including data validation, quality management, reporting, audits and governance
  • Experience preparing or processing data loads, EIBs, integrations or related data transfers in Workday or similar systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for issue resolution
  • Effective written and verbal communication, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Well-organised, self-motivated, able to prioritise multiple tasks and pursue continuous improvement
