HRIS Payroll Systems Analyst

Apply advanced analytical skills to HRIS and Payroll systems for Elk Valley Resources, supporting on-site Shared Services operations in British Columbia.

The Senior Analyst, Shared Services designs, implements, and improves business processes across HRIS/ERP systems. This role focuses on Payroll, Time & Attendance, and Accounts Payable while ensuring legislative, financial, and internal control compliance. You will support integrations, reporting, system enhancements, and sustainable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement compliant HRIS/ERP process improvements
• Manage system enhancements, integrations, and implementation initiatives
• Analyze reporting requirements and improve business intelligence
• Provide governance for legacy systems and historical data repositories
• Support communications, training, and adoption of new technologies

Requirements:

• Five years of Finance, Payroll, or business systems experience
• Two years supporting HRIS/ERP implementations or transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of integrations, workflows, reporting, and data governance
• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
• Integrity, confidentiality, discretion, and professional judgment
