HSQE Advisor - Remote / Site

In this remote, site-based role you will lead HSQE across major civil engineering and tunnelling projects, ensuring compliance and delivering safety training. You will support project teams, conduct inspections, and drive a culture of safety and quality across sites around the UK. Your work will balance client requirements with business needs while maintaining a proactive safety stance. This position offers hands-on leadership with travel to sites and a clear impact on health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes.

- conduct risk-led inspections and ensure adherence to systems and best practices
- manage plant and materials risk and safe maintenance across projects

- support operations planning and delivery as part of the team
- oversee contractors and ensure compliance with HSEQ standards
- perform equipment inspections as required
- deliver accredited and bespoke HSQE training programs
- lead incident investigations
- create and share educational HSQE material
- Minimum of a NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- Construction or Civil Engineering work experience
- Valid CSCS card aligned to Job Role
- Proficiency in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email)
- Proven ability to build robust working relationships
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Full UK driving license
- Full right to work in the UK
