HVAC Application Engineering Technologist

Apply HVAC fundamentals and AutoCAD expertise at Mafna Air Technologies Inc. while supporting custom air handling and refrigeration equipment projects.

This technically oriented technologist works across HVAC application engineering, project coordination, and manufacturing operations. You will interpret drawings, specifications, tender documents, and equipment schedules. The work includes equipment selection, hydronic components, controls coordination, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, tenders, and equipment schedules
• Select custom air handling and HVAC equipment
• Apply coils, fans, pumps, valves, and components
• Coordinate HVAC controls requirements with specialists
• Prepare submittals, schedules, selections, and engineering drawings

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering technology or engineering
• Knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and air handling systems
• Experience reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications
• Intermediate to advanced AutoCAD proficiency
• Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable vehicle
