Automate identity and security operations at Saint Mary's University using IAM, PowerShell, and Python within a permanent, full-time position.

As an Identity and Security Automation Specialist, you will support Enterprise Information Technology and the Systems and Cybersecurity team. Your work covers account lifecycle management, SSO, MFA, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and access reviews. You will also improve workflows, support audits, and guide responsible AI and automation use across the university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support provisioning, deprovisioning, role management, and access changes
  • Troubleshoot SSO and MFA issues, escalating complex problems
  • Monitor identity platforms and investigate operational issues
  • Conduct access reviews, collect evidence, and track remediation
  • Create automation for joiner, mover, and leaver workflows

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Two to five years of related technical experience
  • Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • PowerShell or Python scripting and automation experience
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer service skills
