IBM i Engineer for Remote E3 Support

Join Releady as an IBM i Engineer supporting remote E3 replenishment for a US music retail company. Leverage your skills in an environment with limited documentation to capture and maintain system knowledge.
This role is for an independent contractor with a focus on assessment, documentation, and ongoing on-call support. You’ll work directly with IBM i (AS/400) systems, specifically in areas of replenishment and user profile management. A deep understanding of RPG programming and experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 will allow you to thrive within this role.
Key Responsibilities: • Assess IBM i environment and perform system inventory • Document processes using recordings and screenshots • Provide on-call support to resolve incidents • Train internal staff on day-to-day operations • Troubleshoot and maintain E3 and IBM i functionalities
Requirements: • Hands-on IBM i operational experience • Proficiency in RPG and CL programming • Familiarity with DB2 for i and flat-file interfaces • Experience with E3 replenishment and its modules • Strong English communication skills
