Overview

As a Fullstack Network Engineer at NTT DATA, you will design, implement, and optimize enterprise network environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will work within the IT Infrastructure team to deliver scalable solutions across multi-platform networks and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will lead automation initiatives and contribute to network modernization efforts that align with business goals. This role offers the chance to influence critical network decisions and mentor junior engineers in a global context.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and WAN connectivity
  • Manage circuit provisioning, ordering, and DWDM deployments
  • Maintain and optimize Cisco Nexus 7000, Cisco 6500, and related networks
  • Create detailed network documentation, connectivity maps, and migration runbooks
  • Develop and maintain automation solutions using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams to align network solutions with requirements
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, standards, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex network issues
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements for performance, security, and scalability
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across network initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network architectures, configurations, and procedures
Key requirements
  • Strong experience in network engineering, infrastructure design, and enterprise networking environments
  • Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and QoS
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms
  • Experience with network security solutions and best practices
  • Proficiency in network automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, Terraform or similar tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork
