ICOA Advanced Insights - Remote

In this role you lead advanced analytics for clinical and operational improvements, building novel data science methods across diverse data sources. You will collaborate with business teams to frame problems, design analysis plans, and deliver scalable ML solutions. You’ll guide data engineering, model validation, and lifecycle management, ensuring high-quality outputs in a regulated environment. This position offers impact through shaping analytics that support clinical decision-making and operational excellence.

• Lead clinical and operation analytics initiatives to drive improvements
• Develop novel data science methodologies for deep insights
• Provide SME guidance on appropriate data science approaches
• Frame business problems with cross-functional teams and design analysis plans
• Develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
• Build scalable, robust code in Python or R to support projects
• Perform exploratory data analysis, system and data architecture assessments
• Ensure lifecycle management of models via code repositories and version control
• Conduct data engineering, preprocessing, and wrangling for large datasets
• Perform thorough validation of ML outputs to ensure quality

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree in data science, statistics, informatics, operations research, computer science, engineering or information systems
• Proficiency in data science and visualization, data ecosystem and pipelines, data wrangling, analytics and with SQL and Python or R
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytics capabilities
• Track record delivering programs in matrix environments
• Experience with structured and unstructured data, predictive modeling and optimization
• Strong knowledge of traditional statistics and ML methods (supervised and unsupervised)
• High proficiency in Python or R
• Familiarity with ML model development, validation and deployment best practices
• Understanding of lifecycle management of code and repositories
• Extensive experience with data wrangling, preprocessing, and engineering on large datasets
• Technical expertise in pharmaceutical clinical or regulated industry data integration and warehousing
